Summary of Experience requirements
Education & Training: Bachelor's Degree in a related human/social service field, one-year recent related experience or combination of education, training and experience.
Experience & Proficiencies
• Understand and manage various family dynamics, resulting from challenges such as violence and addictions
• Participate in the development, modification and evaluation of client service plans
• Develop and implement intervention plans within program guidelines
• Facilitate educational sessions, and problem-solving with clients related to parenting and family functioning
• Provide parenting skills building including parent-child interaction, discipline and behaviour management
• Provide emotional support and feedback to clients
• Outline services provide to other community service providers and professionals as required
• Maintain relevant records and statistics, accurate, objective, and timely submission of monthly reports
• Perform other duties as required
